How do you deal with emotional deregulation
One of my biggest challenges is emotional Deregulation. Things build and then suddenly I’m hit with Big Feels mostly upset and I start hit myself in the face (I know it is terrible and I worry how I look ) often not for long and then I takes me about an hour to calm down. I don’t feel I get sensorial overloaded (although I get the sense my deregulation is often linked to being a bit over stimulated) I just want to stop . I honestly don’t know what to do at all . Take today I dropped a glass bottle of soda started to feel a little upset then told the staff a was told “go to lane 2” then I repeated what I had said because I thought I wasn’t understood and I was “hear you but you look done so you should go to lane 2 to pay “ . I then ended up deregulating . How do I stop ? How do you deal with it ? Before I thought I was just stupid by now I know it part of my AuADHD . I also think it might be linked to school trauma form the whole “interesting is an intelligent child who (behaviors that are linked to AuADHD ) are for attention and must be controlled by his parents”Exploring the Hidden Gems of San Francisco—Where Should I Go Next?
